Trashing Sarah Palin – Politics as Usual

The more the left rants and digs, the more Sarah Palin stays in the public eye. Go for it guys! Your efforts to quell what you see as an obvious threat only belittles your cause and saves McCain the trouble of delving into his campaign funds. As for all you guys on the extreme right who would love to put women “in their place” back in the time we were treated like property, well the same message applies to you!

If I want an abortion, I should have the right to make that choice. If I don’t want one, then that too is my right! If I want to work in a job and be paid the same salary as a man and I am equally qualified, I should have that right. If I want to work, period, I ought to have that right. If I want to go to college to be any damn thing I want to be, I ought to have that right. And, I don’t have to settle for being a teacher or secretary. While both are honorable professions, there are plenty women who don’t want to do those two jobs. If I want to have my own checking or bank account, buy a car, buy a house, I ought to have that right without my husband having to sign permission.

The present laws say I can now do all these things. I have taught my daughter and son that men and women can do or be anything they want as long as they are willing to work for that goal and have the ability to do them. I remember when the law and/or society shunned or said I could not do all of the above.

Be for warned, for every ignorant woman or stupid man who tries to take women back to the days of “you can’t or shouldn’t,” there is a long line of women ready to defend against your bigoted, extreme, closed minded ideas of what is best for women. What is best for women is the right to chose their own destiny, control and take responsibility for their own body, work at a job of their choice, and not be shackled at home by a redneck standard that says women belong “barefoot and pregnant” while the guy goes to work every day, then comes home and asks for an accounting of every damn thing the “little wife” did while he was gone, that is when he comes home.

By the same token, if Sarah Palin and her husband have found a way that works for them that allows each of them to work at the career of their choice, then good for them. Tell you what I think. All you “Bible totters” who are without sin, life mistakes, and little “secrets in the closet” need to clean your own house before you try to enforce your judgemental standards on someone else.

What hypocrites so many of you are as you hide behind  your leftist, socialist views or your holier than thou, Bible toting fundamentalism with your “black and white” mind sets and no shades of “grey!” One of you wants to be God and the other doesn’t believe in God. One of you is Adam and Eve. The other is the serpent in the Garden

As for Sarah Palin, go for it girl1 So far I have yet to find anything “specific” and “proven” that would keep me from supporting Palin’s bid for Republican Vice President. Give me some substantiated facts, and then I may change my mind! But, as things stand right now, I can think of nothing more dangerous than to elect Obama President of America. How this guy got the party’s nomination with so many other better qualified Blacks is beyond my capability to comprehend.

  1. Obama is a very leftist oriented politician. He is a Muslim by birth. Just because his father left the Church doesn’t change his status! Whether or not he “believes”m or is a “closet Muslim,” the Muslim hardliners will never accept dealing with a man who doesn’t practice his faith. Under their law “he is” a Muslim!

Many Christians feel the Jews are being punished for their failure to accept Christ for who he was. There is even a sect of Jews who “do,” though admittedly small in numbers, accept Christ.

I see no problem with invoking God in a struggle against en enemy who wants to take away our right to practice Christianity or any other faith who wants to kill us or convert us to Islam!

I did not say I was pro choice. I said I felt it was my right. I also said it was the individual right of all women to make such a choice. I don’t feel anyone has the right to make that choice for a woman but that woman. What’s to “get” about that?

  2. I can find no information that Palin has strong far left(of course not, she’s a republican), socialists ideological views (we’ll see where she stands on the bailout, if she is allowed to comment publicly) or fascist views (are you implying that Obama or Biden are fascist? If not, how is this statement even relevant?)
I can find no question marks about her ties to the Islamic world (what about facts, not question marks? Again, are you implying (yes, you are) that Obama is Muslim)? . I can find no question marks about her being a member of a racists Church of any slant.( andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com — Brickner, [Palin’s church leader] also described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God’s “judgment of unbelief” of Jews who haven’t embraced Christianity. Palin was in church that day and did nothing.)
I can find no question marks about Palin’s ties to radical beliefs of extreme left or right. (Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God,” Some may consider that an extreme belief) Can you say the same for Obama or Hillary [i.e.:Goerge Soros, Harold Ickes, Jane Fonda, to name a few]?
Look, who cares who you vote for, but your arguments are so illogical. In your original post you said ‘If I want an abortion, I should have the right to make that choice. If I don’t want one, then that too is my right!” Well rest assured that if Palin becomes president and appoints a new supreme court you will no longer have that right. I personally do not believe in abortion as a ‘choice’, I’m against it in all but a few special circumstances, but you profess to be pro-choice and yet you support the one candidate he decidedly is not. I just don’t get it.

  3. I will not vote for a candidate just because he/she is of a specific party. I always vote for the person I think will do the best job for our country.

I can find no information that Palin has strong far left, socialists ideological views or fascist views. I can find no question marks about her ties to the Islamic world. I can find no question marks about her being a member of a racists Church of any slant. I can find no question marks about Palin’s ties to radical beliefs of extreme left or right. Can you say the same for Obama or Hillary [i.e.:Goerge Soros, Harold Ickes, Jane Fonda, to name a few]?

  4. Have you found anything ‘specific and proven’ that would make you belive she is qualified to lead the most powerful nation on earth? Other than the fact that she is a woman? ‘Go for it girl’? “How this guy got the party’s nomination with so many other better qualified Blacks is beyond my capability to comprehend”. Don’t you see the hypocrisy? What shade of grey do you see?
