“Message to Congress: Build the Fence”

While our troops defend our freedom and Democracy abroad and the same for others, it is our duty to do the same here at home. Part of that effort is the security and the protection of our nation. Congress has repeatedly let us down both at home and abroad in both our efforts and those of our troops. There is a lot going on right now that we all need to do to force Congress to pass legislation to protect our borders and support the efforts of our troops abroad. Here is one such effort regarding the “border protection” that is crucial here at home. Don’t let our troops down by dropping the ball here at home! Read on:

I just signed a petition demanding our leaders in Congress to
build the border fence–as it was promised to us. I’m asking you
to join me in signing.

After passing the Secure Fence Act last year, certain members of
Congress “gutted” the legislation and along with it any hope that
a real fence would be constructed.

A double-layered fence was promised to the American people,
and I am holding leadership accountable and demanding they
make good on their promise.

Two bills are currently in Congress that seek to reform and
reinstate the Secure Fence Act. I support these bills, and urge you
to do so as well by clicking here:

Thanks for joining with me.

alert your friends and family–urging them to take action with
you!

Note, when you sign the petition, you will get back a similar link [message like this one] to send your friends. Dumb me, not knowing this I forwarded the email sent to me as an attachment, lol, DD!
