A Thank You for My Supporters and Readers
I found two incoming links on my stats page that really sure surprised me. On October 18, 2007 I was number 86 on the Word Press list of 100 growing Blogs. On October 23, 2007, I was up to number 70! This is quite a surprise and an honor to me.
I try to put a lot of effort in my posts to provide validated resources. I also write many posts that are my own views and opinions. I try hard to distinguish between the two areas. But, most importantly, I try to write about things that impact our nation and our troops in this “War on Terror” and the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Much as I hate politics, I am a realist. Politics are unavoidable in our present environment! I truly believe we are fighting “two wars,” one at home against the Socialist and Communist effort that has made such inroads into every aspect of our political and cultural arenas. The other is the War we are fighting on Terror. Both want to destroy our American way of life. Both want to do away with our Constitution and force our nation to accept totalitarian governments not of the people.
The only difference is the Terrorists openly have declared war on America and the Socialists and Communists wage a silent war that slowly and methodically attacks America at every level of our American way of life. The exception of course is the very vocal anti-war anarchists that are part of this movement that stir dissent and detract our attention from the Socialist/Communist take-over they support and are very much a part of!
To all those of you who visit my blog and support my efforts, a big “Thank You!” My selection into the top 100 rising Word Press Blogs means to me that people are getting my message. It also means that I am doing something right in conveying my message. I was, quite honestly, beginning to feel like I was failing in my goals.
I don’t usually have a lot of comments posted on my blog except for my post on “Cheating in the Military!” This post has taken on a life of its own as a sort of support forum. For that I am very happy. It means I am helping our troops and their families in some small way. But, I did not want my blog to turn into a sort of “Dear Abby” Blog alone. I also do not want our troops to become defined by this problem! They are not by any means the only group of Americans troubled by cheating spouses.
Your support has put me on that list of growing blogs. The message I get is that readers want me to continue my current goals here, supporting our troops and looking out for our great nation. Your support tells me my message is getting through to people.
Thank you all. I am deeply honored!
