A Father’s Day Tribute to Our Deployed Troops, the Fallen, and Both their “Children”

As we celebrate our Fathers on this Father’s Day, please take a moment to say a prayer of thanks to all our “fathers” presently deployed.

If you know one of their families, take a moment to ask them how they are doing or if the need anything. Their kids are especially in need of support today as they are reminded that their Dad is away at war or serving their country in some other capacity.

Visit the troops blogs and post them a message of thanks for their sacrifices.

If you know of a forum or some other means of sending them a message to honor them and give thanks to them for their sacrifice on this day, then post there.

Lastly, but certainly very important, remember all those children of the fallen who feel the pain of that loss particularly painful today. To them, I offer my most sincere gratitude and prayers.

God Bless all our fathers in harms way or away from home as they serve our country. Thank you for all you have sacrificed.
