“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that
good men do nothing!”
Edmond Burke

One of my earlier posts:

“I have a dream”

The Islamic extremists and terrorists are like an invasion world wide. They have made no secret of the fact that they intend ultimately to establish a new caliphate and take over the world. Those who don’t convert will be killed. Well, I like my religion. I have no desire to change it to anything else. I invested a number of years in my religious search. What I can’t understand is why there are so many people who can’t see the threat these fanatics represent.

Our country exists today because one of the reasons our forefathers came here and established this country was for freedom of religious persuasion. The threat presented by al Qaida to me is no different than an invasion from extra terrestrial invaders in that this war is of world wide significance. The enemy will kill any who do not believe as they do as they attempt to conquer the whole world and make us all “extremist” Muslims. We will not only lose our freedom of religion, we will lose freedom of speech, our personal liberties, all those principles in the Bill of Rights and Constitution we hold so dear. So why can’t the rest of the world unite together and put an end to all this? Because people refuse to put aside petty differences and disagreements and work together until they are immediately threatened.

Our most out spoken opponent in this war is France of all nations. Yet last week, the French president he wouldn’t hesitate to use nuclear weapons if attacked. Looks like he is finally beginning to realize all those Muslim extemists in France are a very real threat. And he has the gall to criticize us! Thinking of his criticism of the US and his latest comment, the only word repeatable I can think of is “hypocrite!”

We need a hero to step up to the plate like in that movie, “Independence Day.” Remember that awesome speech the president gave just before all the nations stood together and launched a united attack against the invaders:

“President Thomas Whitmore:
Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. “Mankind.”

That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom… Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist.

And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: “We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!” We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!”

I love that speech. It is moving. It says we are united as a world against a common enemy. That as a united world body of citizens, we will not let an enemy destroy us or take away our rights, even our very lives. Like the Romans, Alexander the Great or Phillip, Ghengis Khan or Hitler these extremists want to conquer the whole world. Unlike those other power hungry self idoltous men bin Laden has the means to conquer the world.

Through sleeper cells trained and sent out all over the world they use the Koran and a doctored interpretation of what it says to draw in millions of Muslims. They have a particular appeal for the poor and disenfranchised. They prey on their poverty and their desire for self empowerment.

That’s why I say we need a hero to step up to the plate. Someone who can make the whole world listen. Make them understand just how serious and dangerous these terrorists really are. I can almost hear him or her giving a speech that unites the whole non-terrorists peoples in an all out attack against these nut cases to end this war once and for all:

Good morning.
In less than an hour, ground forces and aircraft from here will join others from around the free world. And you will be launching the largest battle in the history of free nations. “Free Nations.”

That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom… Not only from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… But from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist.

And should we win today the fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: “As free nations, we will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish or give up our rights and freedom without a fight!” We’re going to live on free! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day from terrorism and terrorists regimes forever!”

Being the optimist that I am, I can see people all over the world who want to be free, picking up weapons, guns, knives, sticks, hoes, whatever, and moving as one wave against all those who oppress and kill those of us who want to be free or those who are free and shouting as they run toward these terrorists, Patrick Henry’s famed words, “Give me Liberty, or Give me death!”

Then like the British in that Johnny Horton song, “The Battle of New Orleans,’ we’ll watch as

“they ran through the briars and they ran through the bushes, and they ran through places that a rabbit wouldn’t go! They ran so fast that the hounds couldn’t catch them. Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.”

Only the words would look something like this:

They ran through the desert, they ran through the mountains, they ran through places a goat couldn’t go. They ran so fast the humvees couldn’t catch
them, down the Tigris andEuphrates and the rocky mountain passes, wave after wave of cowards they did flow!”

In the beginning stages of the war, I found an interesting article about why we are at war in Iraq. I forget where I originally found the article. However the article is so to the point I like to periodically repost it. I think this article very clearly says why we are at war and why went into Iraq. Read on:

“U.S. Navy Capt. Ouimette is the XO at NAS, Pensacola. AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP! That’s what we think we heard on the 11th of September 2001 and maybe it was, but I think it should have been “Get Out of Bed!” In fact, I think the alarm clock has been buzzing since 1979, and we have continued to hit the snooze button and roll over for a few more minutes of peaceful sleep since then.

It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian Students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran. This seizure was an outright attack on American soil; it was an attack that held the world’s most powerful country hostage and paralyzed a Presidency. The attack on this sovereign U. S. embassy set the stage for events to follow for the next 23 years.

America was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam experience and had a serious threat from the Soviet Union when then, President Carter, had to do something. He chose to conduct a clandestine raid in the desert. The ill-fated mission ended in ruin, but stood as a symbol of America’s inability to deal with terrorism.

America’s military had been decimated and downsized/right sized since the end of the Vietnam War. A poorly trained, poorly equipped and poorly organized military was called on to execute a complex mission that was doomed from the start.

Shortly after the Tehran experience, Americans began to be kidnapped and killed throughout the Middle East. America could do little to protect her citizens living and working abroad. The attacks against US soil continued.

In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut. When it explodes, it kills 63 people. The alarm went off again and America hit the Snooze Button once more.

Then just six short months later a large truck heavily laden down with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed. America mourns her dead and hit the Snooze Button once more.

Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives is driven into the US Embassy in Kuwait, and America continues her slumber.

The following year, in September 1984, another van was driven into the gates of the US Embassy in Beirut and America slept.

Soon the terrorism spreads to Europe. In April 1985 a bomb explodes in a restaurant frequented by US soldiers in Madrid.

Then in August a Volkswagen loaded with explosives is driven into the main gate of the US Air Force Base at Rhein-Main, 22 are killed and the snooze alarm is buzzing louder and louder as US interests are continually attacked.

Fifty-nine days later a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed.

The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, killing 259.

America wants to treat these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war. The wake up alarm is getting louder and louder.

The terrorists decide to bring the fight to America. In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

The following month, February 1993, a group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured. Still this is a crime and not an act of war? The Snooze alarm is depressed again.

Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women.

A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500.

The terrorists are getting braver and smarter, as they see that America does not respond decisively. They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. These attacks were planned with precision. They kill 224. America responds with cruise missile attacks and goes back to sleep.

The USS Cole was docked in the port of Aden, Yemen for refueling on 12 October 2000, when a small craft pulled along side the ship and exploded killing 17 US Navy Sailors. Attacking a US War Ship is an act of war, but we sent the FBI to investigate the crime and went back to sleep.

And of course you know the events of 11 September 2001.

Most Americans think this was the first attack against US soil or in America. How wrong they are. America has been under a constant attack since 1979 and we chose to hit the snooze alarm and roll over and go back to sleep.

In the news lately we have seen lots of finger pointing from every high officials in government over what they knew and what they didn’t know. But if you’ve read the papers and paid a little attention I think you can see exactly what they knew. You don’t have to be in the FBI or CIA or on the National Security Council to see the pattern that has been developing since 1979.

The President is right on when he says we are engaged in a war. I think we have been in a war for the past 23 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough. America needs to “Get out of Bed” and act decisively now.

America has been changed forever. We have to be ready to pay the price and make the sacrifice to ensure our way of life continues. We cannot afford to keep hitting the snooze button again and again and roll over and go back to sleep.

After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said “…it seems all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant.” This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world. Support Our Troops and support President Bush for having the courage, political or militarily, to address what so many who preceded him didn’t have the backbone to do both Democrat and Republican.

This is not a political thing to be hashed over in an election year this is an AMERICAN thing. This is about our Freedom and the Freedom of our children in years to come.”

Here’s another interesting bit of fact that drew negligible media attention:

From a post I wrote in December of 2004, here is an accounting of a court case where two 9/11 victiims’ family sued and “won.” The judge ruled that there was sufficient evidence of an Iraq  – Al Qaeda connection wi8th regards to 9/11. At the time there was very little media coverage. I haven’t seen anything since!

Iraq and 9/11: What the Judge Said

In light of Thursday’s Wall Street Journal report detailing new evidence tying Iraq to the 9/11 attacks, it’s worth noting that the only time the question of an Iraq-9/11 connection has been legally tested, the verdict was affirmative.

In a woefully underreported decision on May 8, 2003, Manhattan U.S. District Court Judge Harold Baer ruled in favor of two 9/11 victim families who had sued Iraq and others claiming they were culpable in the attacks. The court awarded plaintiffs $104 million based on the Baer’s findings.

The ruling by Judge Baer – a Carter appointee, by the way – was quite detailed. In fact, we suspect that the reason for the media’s near-blackout on the case is because most Americans would consider his findings to be very persuasive.

Here, in part, is what Judge Baer had to say about the Iraq-9/11 connection:

“The opinion testimony of the plaintiffs’ experts is sufficient to meet plaintiffs’ burden that Iraq collaborated in or supported bin Laden/al Qaeda’s terrorist acts of September 11. . .
“Their opinions, coupled with their qualifications as experts on this issue, provide a sufficient basis for a reasonable jury to draw inferences which could lead to the conclusion that Iraq provided material support to al Qaeda and that it did so with knowledge and intent to further al Qaeda’s criminal acts.”

Judge Baer continued:
“[Former CIA] Director [James] Woolsey reviewed several facts that tended in his view to show Iraq’s involvement in acts of terrorism against the United States in general and likely in the events of September 11 specifically.

“First, Director Woolsey described the existence of a highly secure military facility in Iraq where non-Iraqi fundamentalists [e.g., Egyptians and Saudis] are trained in airplane hijacking and other forms of terrorism. Through satellite imagery and the testimony of three Iraqi defectors, [he] demonstrated the existence of this facility, called Salman Pak, which has an airplane but no runway.
“The defectors also stated that these fundamentalists were taught methods of hijacking using utensils or short knives. Plaintiffs contend it is farfetched to believe that Iraqi agents trained fundamentalists in a top-secret facility for any purpose other than to promote terrorism.

“Second, Director Woolsey mentioned a meeting that allegedly occurred in Prague in April 2001 between Mohammad Atta, the apparent leader of the hijackings, and a high-level Iraqi intelligence agent. According to James Woolsey, the evidence indicates that this was an ‘operational meeting’ because Atta flew to the Czech Republic and then returned to the United States shortly afterwards. The Minister of Interior of the Czech Republic, Stanislav Gross, stated on October 26, 2001:
“‘In this moment we can confirm, that during the next stay of Muhammad Atta in the Czech republic there was the contact with the official of the Iraqi Intelligence, Mr. Al Ani, Ahmed Khalin Ibrahim Samir, who was on 22nd April 2001 expelled from the Czech Republic on the basis of activities which were not compatible with the diplomatic status . . . ‘

“Third, Director Woolsey noted that his conclusion was also based on ‘contacts,’ which refer to interactions between Hussein/Iraq and bin Laden/al Qaeda that are described in a letter from George Tenet, the Director of Central Intelligence, to Senator Bob Graham on October 7, 2002. Director Tenet’s carefully worded letter included in substance the same allegations, but with less detail, that Secretary of State Colin Powell made before the U.N. Security Counsel on Feb. 5, 2003, in his remarks about ‘the potentially much more sinister nexus between Iraq and the al-Qaida terrorist network. . . .’

“Both Director Tenet and Secretary Powell mentioned ’senior level contacts’ between Iraq and al Qaeda going back to the early 1990s [although both acknowledged that part of the interactions in the early to mid-1990s pertained to achieving a mutual non-aggression understanding]; both mentioned that al Qaeda sought to acquire poison gas and training in its use from Iraq; both mentioned that al Qaeda members have been in Iraq, including Baghdad, after September 2001. . . .

“Finally, plaintiffs also place considerable weight on an article that appeared in a regional Iraqi newspaper in July 2001, two months before the disaster of September 11. This article, a paean to bin Laden, mentions that bin Laden

1] ‘will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House,’
2] ‘is insisting very convincingly that he will strike America on the arm that is already hurting,’ and
3] ‘will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs.’
See Exs. 16-18, Naeem Abd Muhalhal, America, An Obsession Called Osama Bin Ladin, Al-Nasiriya, July 21, 2001 [original, translation, and certificate of accuracy of translation].

“Because, according to Director Woolsey, ‘all publications in Iraq really appear at the sufferance of and with a full vetting by the Iraqi regime,’ see Tr. 158, and because of the coincidences and the fact that ‘[t]here is a certain propensity, I think, on bin Laden’s part and on Saddam’s part … to try to communicate in somewhat vague terms,’ Director Woolsey concluded that there is a probability of a vague foreknowledge of what was contemplated. See Tr. 159.” [End of Excerpt]

Judge Baer also found the testimony of terrorism expert Dr. Laurie Mylroie persuasive, writing:

“Dr. Mylroie described Iraq’s covert involvement in acts of terrorism against the United States in the past, including the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993. Dr. Mylroie testified to at least four events that served as the basis for her conclusion that Iraq played a role in the September 11 tragedy:

“First, she claimed that Iraq provided and continues to provide support to two of the main perpetrators of the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993. Specifically, Abdul Rahman Yasin returned to Baghdad after the bombing and Iraq has provided him safe haven ever since. See Tr. 175-76. Also, Ramsey Yusef arrived in the United States on an Iraqi passport in his own name but left on false documentation – a passport of a Pakistani who was living in Kuwait and whom the Kuwaiti government kept a file on at the time that Iraq invaded Kuwait. See Tr. 174.

“Second, she noted bin Laden’s fatwah against the United States, which was motivated by the presence of U.S. forces in Saudi Arabia to fight the Gulf War against Iraq. See Tr. 177.

“Third, she noted that threats by bin Laden in late 1997 and early 1998 which led up to the bombing of the U.S. embassies [on August 7, 1998] were ‘in lockstep’ with Hussein’s threats about ousting the U.N. weapons inspectors, which he eventually did on August 5, 1998. See Tr. 178-79.

“Dr. Mylroie concluded that ‘Iraq, I believe, did provide support and resources for the September 11 attacks. I agree with [Iraqi defector] Captain [Sabah] Khodada when he said that … it took a state like Iraq to carry out an attack as really sophisticated, massive and deadly as what happened on September 11.’ See Tr. 182.” [End of Excerpt]

To be sure, Judge Baer also noted that the case for Iraq’s involvement in 9/11 is far from a slam dunk, concluding,

“Plaintiffs have shown, albeit barely, ‘by evidence satisfactory to the court’ that Iraq provided material support to bin Laden and al Qaeda.”

Nevertheless, that’s a far cry from media claims – not to mention President Bush’s incredibly ill-advised statement last fall – that there’s no evidence tying Iraq to 9/11.”

[Well with the evidence of our intelligence aencies, I can understand the President’s remarks. As far as the media goes, they seem to be in another world not based on reality…devildog6771]

What failures in America allowed the above situations to occur? How did the terrorist get to be so powerful so fast? What did we do to cause 9/11? Read on to another post I wrote. It has plenty references and supportive information. Read it and check it out yourself.

“The “Enemy Within!”

“Over at MyDD Jonathan Singer wrote a post  called, “How Republicans Treat Vets, How

Democrats Treat Vets.” I disagree with Mr. Singer’s views that the GOP and Rep. Schmidt

showed no regard for our troops. He felt the Republicans ought to have provided more

factual information to support the war. However, what can the GOP tell us we don’t already know. The terrorists have declared war on us. They say every chance they get that they will destroy us and our way of life. They will make Iraq their staging area after we pull out of

There were ties between Osama and Saddam. Saddam did have WMDs and we were told that. But now the Democrats keep saying Bush lied! Though not reported as enthusiastically as the negative news we hear every day, the “9/11 Commission” mentions the many meetings between al Qaeda and Saddam.

Page 134 of the 9/11 Commission reports Richard Clarke’s own fears in this regard. But
continues to blame Bush. Maybe he has ulterior motives! Clinton himself made the first connections to al Qaeda.:

“In fact, during President Clinton’s eight years in  office, there were at least two official pronouncements of an alarming alliance between Baghdad and al Qaeda. One came from William S. Cohen, Mr. Clinton’s defense secretary. He cited an al Qaeda-Baghdad link to justify the bombing of a pharmaceutical plant in

I read Democratic Rep. John Murtha of  Pennsylvania’s shocking comments about our need to withdraw from Iraq. I also read about the subsequent vote generated by the Republicans and

Rep. Schmidt’s comments about a call from a deployed Marine. I clearly understood that neither the Republicans nor Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-OH) were saying anything bad about Democratic Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania.

What she did do was put before Congress the opinion of one of her constituents. The GOP did the same thing, considered their constituents, when they called for immediate removal of our troops from Iraq. [Remember us voters? We put you guys in Congress. Maybe we made a mistake?] The Republicans knew the Democrats were posturing for the up coming elections. They also knew that no sane person would call for our troops to leave Iraq. Their bill wasn’t frivolous. It was designed to put the matter to a vote once and for all and to allow Congress to be able to “move on [couldn’t resist this pun].”

But the Democratic policy for 25 years is what led to the events of 9/11. Read what David Horowitz  wrote. Here is an excerpt:

“The Democrats’ Anti-Intelligence Bill

The Democrats’ cavalier attitude towards American security in the years preceding September 11 was dramatized in a bill to cut the intelligence budget sight unseen, which was introduced every year of the Clinton Administration by Independent Bernie Sanders. The fact that Sanders was an extreme leftist proved no problem for the Democrats—still enjoying their long-standing congressional majority—when they appointed him to a seat on

the House intelligence committee. Indeed why should it be a problem? Shortly before the World Trade Center attack, Senate Democrats made another leftist, California Senator Barbara Boxer, an opponent of the war against Saddam Hussein and a long-time critic of the American military, the chair of the Senate Sub-committee on Terrorism.

The Sanders initiative was launched in 1993, after the first al-Qaeda attack on the World Trade Center. In that year, the Democrat-controlled House Intelligence Committee had voted to reduce President Clinton’s own authorization request for the intelligence agencies by 6.75%. But this was insufficient for Sanders. So he introduced an amendment that required a minimum reduction in financial authorization for each individual intelligence agency of at least 10%.

Sanders refused to even examine the intelligence budget he proposed to cut:

“My job is not to go through the intelligence budget. I have not even looked at it.”

According to Sanders the reasons for reducing the intelligence budget were that

“the Soviet Union no longer exists,” and that “massive unemployment, that low wages, that homelessness, that hungry children, that the collapse of our educational system is perhaps an equally strong danger to this Nation, or may be a stronger danger for our national security.”

That wasn’t enough damage to our security, Clinton allowed China to become the second largest

super power:

“In 1997, Clinton allowed China to take over the Panama Canal. The Chinese company Hutchison Whampoa leased the ports of Cristobal and Balboa, on the east and west openings of the canal respectively, thus controlling access both ways. A public outcry stopped Clinton in 1998 from leasing California’s Long Beach Naval Yard to the Chinese firm COSCO. Even so, China can now strike
targets easily from their bases in Panama, Vancouver and the

How did China catch up so fast? Easy. We sold them all the technology they needed – or handed it over for free. Neither neglect nor carelessness are to blame. Bill Clinton did it on purpose. As a globalist, Clinton promotes “multipolarity”– the doctrine that no country (such as the USA) should be allowed to gain decisive advantage over others. To this end, Clinton appointed anti-nuclear activist Hazel O’Leary to head the Department of Energy.

O’Leary set to work “leveling the playing field,” as she put it, by giving away our nuclear secrets. She declassified 11 million pages of data on U..S. nuclear weapons and loosened up security at weapons labs. Federal investigators later concluded that China made off with the “crown jewels” of our nuclear weapons research under Clinton’s open-door policy – probably including design specifications for suitcase nukes.

Meanwhile, Clinton and his corporate cronies raked in millions.” The Clinton administration also dropped the ball in preventing 9/11:

““And CAPPS worked brilliantly on 9/11 — picking out 11 of the 19 hijackers for special scrutiny as possible terrorists. But…  Gore’s work was entirely based on the belief that nobody would commit suicide while hijacking a plane. So the only purpose of CAPPS was to assure that these passengers boarded the airplane with their checked baggage — since the feds assumed that the checked bags couldn’t have a bomb in if the terrorist was on the plane himself.”

The Democratic Party is in trouble. It is struggling for its very survival. But it is looking down the wrong path for a fix! It needs to look closer to home. Check out its own closets. Wash its own dirty lenin [another pun]! The best description of what is happening to the Democratic Party was written by Vaclav Havel. The Chech president said of him:

“The first targets of. Havel’s considerable wrath and sarcasm were the poor fools making “halfhearted” efforts at creating “Socialism with a human face.” One of his first essays, 1965’s “On Evasive Thinking” (collected in the English-language volume Open Letters) makes cruel sport of a newspaper essayist who — not unlike his modern American counterparts — attempted to assess and then dismiss the broader significance of a temporal tragedy, in this case, a building ledge falling and killing a passerby. “The public,” Havel

wrote, “again showed more intelligence and humanity than the writer, for it had understood that the so-called prospects of mankind are nothing but an empty platitude if they distract us from our particular worry about who might be killed by [another] window ledge, and what will happen should it fall on a group of nursery-school children out for a walk.””

He also said in an open letter to his dictator,

Gustav Husak, “So far,” Havel scolded Husak, “you and your government have chosen the easy way out for yourselves, and the most dangerous road for society: the path of inner decay for the sake of outward appearances; of deadening life for the sake of increasing uniformity; of deepening the spiritual and moral crisis of our society, and ceaselessly degrading human dignity, for the puny sake of protecting your own power.”

This all sounds very familiar to me. The Democratic Party has much to work on if it wants to regain its identity. However, right now it appears to be so far removed from what is really going on within its own house, I fear the Party may never recover. One of the biggest threats to the Party is George Soros.Soros had Tom Delay removed. He organized a 527 network of non-profit activists groups or political committees to promote Democratic Party agendas.

Soros, Hillary Clinton and Harold Ickes founded the “Shadow Party” with its “Seven Sisters” to:

“Through these Seven Sisters, Soros and his team convey money, information and marching orders down the line to a much larger network  encompassing radical public employee unions, leftwing foundations and street-level activist groups.

The network has emerged as a veritable shadow government, wielding the power to make or break politicians at the highest level. The sudden convergence of Soros-sponsored “public interest” groups in the attack on DeLay smacks of coordination. It suggests that Soros has focused the full might of his Shadow Party on an effort to discredit Tom DeLay and force his resignation as House Majority Leader.”

Take a look at the four main financial contributors of the “Shadow Party:”

“Top Four Shadow Party Contributions to Democrat 527s Contributors (August 2000 – August 2004)

*George and Susan W. Soros $24,170,000.00

*Peter B. Lewis $23,147,220.00

*Stephen L. Bing $15,382,555.00

*Jane Fonda $13,085,750.00

One of the Seven Sisters, MoveOn.org said after the last Presidential race, “Now it’s our party. We bought it, we own it.” A rather arrogant claim in my opinion. But this clearly reflects the what is happening to the Democratic Party. It was bad enough they had Al-Jazeera at their convention. Then 12 party members asked the United Nations to monitor our last election. Now the party is allowing these radical elements to take over their party.

There are two other questionable Democratic Party alliances. Its alliance with two well known and respected[?] organizations, the NEA and the NAACP. But are they what they seem? “The NAACP today functions as nothing more than a leftwing auxiliary of the Democratic Party. Its Foundation in 2000 ran a notorious political TV ad showing a chain

being dragged behind a pickup truck that said George W. Bush, as Texas Governor, had not signed “hate crimes” legislation to punish the racists who murdered a black man by ddragging him behind their truck. These convicted killers, the NAACP ad neglected to mention, had already received the maximum penalty permitted under Texas law – and that this “hate crimes” legislation therefore could have added nothing to their punishment. The ad was leftwing agitprop of the sort used by Stalin and Hitler, an utterly dishonest, deceitful emotional appeal to frighten, anger and activate voters.”

“The NEA has not been modest about imposing on students its own left-eyed values agenda, which ironically promotes the teaching of Darwinian evolution in the classroom while discouraging competition and scorekeeping on the playground. NEA promotes the discounting of religion (except for Wiccan paganism and Islam); sex education, and social equality for homosexuals; and science but also unscientific environmental extremism. NEA also promotes multiculturalism that praises every minority while teaching that white America has always been a racist, sexist, homophobic, imperialistic land unworthy of respect, much less patriotism.” I never heard of any of this before. Shamefully, I should have!

Surprisingly, this administration has done much to help the blacks. But as the above referenced articles indicate, the Democrats, the NAACP, and NEA have not only hurt Blacks but all America’s children in the end .

The largest radical group in America is  “ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS FOR REFORM NOW,” ACORN. On March 12, 2003, the ACORN-controlled City Council passed a resolution, by a 31-17 margin, condemning the invasion of
Iraq. Thanks to a
virtual press blackout on the resolution, most New Yorkers today are unaware that their City Council ever passed such a measure.

In the 2004 election cycle, ACORN and its sister group Project Vote ran a nationwide voter

mobilization drive for George Soros’ Shadow Party. The drive was marred by numerous allegations of fraudulent voter registration, vote-rigging, voter intimidation, and vote-for-pay scams.

ACORN drew national attention during the 2004 election campaign, when its get-out-the-vote activists turned up at the center of numerous reports of voter fraud, especially in the swing states of Ohio, Colorado, Missouri Pennsylvania, New Mexico and Minnesota. What about in Congress? Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is the new minority leader in the House of Representatives.

Nancy serves on the executive committee of the socialist-leaning Progressive Caucus. “Until 1999, the website of the Progressive Caucus was hosted by the Democratic Socialists of America. An article by a reporter led to the DSA redesigning their website. Following that expose of the link between the two organizations in WorldNetDaily, the Progressive Caucus established its own website under the auspices of  Congress. Another officer of the Progressive Caucus, and one of its guiding lights, is avowed socialist Rep. Bernie Sanders, the Vermont independent.”

I could go on and on in my discussion of the Democratic party and its decline and the efforts of those behind this decline to show what is really behind all the efforts to dis-credit the Republican Party and its administration policies. But that would only cause readers to get lost in the mire. The information is out there. I haven’t even shown the correlation to the “peace movements” or the support given to our enemy. This is all about much more than treatment of our troops. But I think that for the purposes of this discussion it’s time to end

it here.

I have done my best to provide what I consider a good resource base. I am not anti-Democratic party in the sense of what the party used to be. I no longer affiliate myself solely to one party. I vote for whoever I feel will do what is best for the country. Sadly in my opinion right now, there is only one “party” in America. Then there is the enemy from within that wants to destroy our way of life!”

Now the Patriot Act has failed to pass. Here are several good blogs with great posts that may not be directly related to my post and its specific theme but certainly they are related to the overall picture and problems we face in this country today as our troops and our President try to defend our nation:

Froggy Ruminations

Basil’s Blog

This posting is a collection of posts I wrote about the war, why we are there, the Saddam-A-Qeada connection, the groups within our own country who have aided this enemy, and have their own seperate agenda for America. If I have only managed to make you want to look up my info to disprove my post and think about what is going on in America today, then this post has done its job.

We can no longer afford to live our lives with our heads in the sand. Democracy will only survive if the people governed by that Democracy protect it and stay informed. We must hold our elected officials accountable. Make saure they do their jobs and represent the puiblic good not special interest groups and big business.

There is much “blame” to go around. Both our political parties have anything but sterling records.in the past. We as American citizens must also bear some of the responsibility too. We have become complacent. But 9/11 was a wake-up call. I can only hope the message rang out loud and clear or we are doomed as a nation!!

  1. Iranian Ajax, sorry guy, you should have read the whole answer! You made an assumption.

  2. You base your geo-political analysis on movies? I stopped reading after that….

  3. Thank you Yankeemom. But, you really are a better writer than I am and you can do it in a lot less words, lol! I still haven’t figured out how to do trackback on this site.

I’m linking to you today ~ sometimes the trackback works – sometimes it doesn’t.

  5. […] Devildog has a post that is a must read ~ it goes very well with my top post (that’s going to stay on top) and she says it so much better than I ever could. […]
