DCCC.org – Trash that video!!! Who protects public rights? A message to our troops!

I am more angry today than I was yesterday about the video on the DCCC.org website using pictures and tributes of our fallen troops for political gain. Again I say, DCCC.org, trash that video! No political party should be using pictures of the caskets of our fallen troops for their campaign!! No political party should be using the boots on the ground memorial our troops use to honor their fallen brothers and sisters for political gain. The Democratic party may think it will win in the upcoming election; but, as long as you align yourselves with ANSWER, UPJ, Code Pink, and all those other groups who are not interested in American ideals and rights and privileges, you better think again. As long as you have parades and rallies that are sponsored by people who support North Korea, Cuba, and the terrorists, you can think again.

In America we don’t need socialism and communism disguised under the name of progressivism to protect our poor and the lower and middle income Americans. What we need is people elected to office who remember who elected them and why they are in office!!

In America we don’t have to apologize to anyone for defending our nation or helping others defend theirs. The right of freedom is God given to all peoples and requires defense.

In America we don’t need people like Code Pink to stand on the streets and street corners outside our hospitals that care for our sick and injured veterans shouting their “progressive”  UN-American tripe! WE NEED PEOPLE TO GO INSIDE THOSE HOSPITALS  who will THANK  those men and women for their service.

In America WE DON’T NEED PEOPLE IN OFFICE WHO SEEK TO MAKE OUR LEADERS POWERLESS TO DEFEND OUR NATION BY RERUSING TO WORK TOWARD A COMMON GOAL INSTEAD OF HIDDEN AGENDAS.

In America we don’t need people to celebrate the death of soldiers. We need people who will write them letters, send care packages, look after their families, visit the injured and sick, and support decent GOVERNMENT BUDGETS SO THEY CAN DO THE JOB WE ASK THEM TO RISK THEIR LIVES TO PERFORM!

In America we need people in office who know how to really look ahead and have the interest of all the people in mind, not just special interest groups. We don’t need people who continually try to drag up centuries and decades old baggage up that keep our nation divided instead of working on making our nation more unified.

In America we don’t need politicians who push laws through that benefit themselves financially so that they get richer while others suffer. We also don’t need  politicians who constantly work for their own self serving agenda and spend the rest of their time and energies directing attention toward other politicians for doing the same damn thing they are doing. We need more politicians who will work together to clean out the crude and dead weight on both sides of the asile. As a suggestion I think the first to go ought to be TED KENNEDY.

In American we don’t need politicians who pretend they are looking out for the little guys organizing all the aliens, migrant workers, blacks, women, low income people and pretending to help them while they are really using them to promote “Progressive changes” that are really anything but  progressive.” These people and groups failed to successfully use those groups in the sixties and they will fail now. All of the people from these groups that are being used will figure you out when they see that your promises were all lies and were not geared to help them but use them to promote the “revolution’ you keep trying to bring about in America!/p>

Instead of starting a REVOLUTION, why don’t you try to be REVOLUTIONARY?? Why not promote ideals where people aren’t given everything. Instead make available the tools where they can work toward their own goals and dreams. Create means for them to be able to successfully achieve what they are willing to work for. Make laws and create programs that build dignity and and self reliance in people as they work for their American dream, not dependance and apathy and an attitude of “you owe me!”  No one is owed anything except the right to achieve and fairly compete based on their own personal drive and ability.

We need politicians who will objectively look at laws and programs presented in Congress no matter by which party, and if it is good, then go with it instead of wasting time trying to always be the one to make the best law by party affiliation. Instead of competing politically over good legislation by party, work to pass the bill. Come up with an original law of your own that provides some other service for the public good and our Nation’s welfare! Demonstrate the ability for independent thought. Political parties that refuse to meet the needs of their constituents while promoting their own agenda will slowly fade away, as they should!

No one, not even Congress is above the law. Break it and you should suffer the consequences. That means to me, you can no longer think that your office cannot be searched by the proper authorities.  At the same time, Congressional representatives ought not to be able to have “Special Prosecutors” appointed with whom they have conflicted interests such as the case of the appointment of the Watergate Special Prosecutor.” Not only was he tied to a Congressional Representative’s hip, he dragged it out at millions of tax payer dollars for political gain. These prosecutors ought to be independent of any of our elected officials. A ceiling ought to be placed on their fees right up front. They should be given a reasonable amount of time to perform their investigation. They should be given specific guidelines to follow that prevent them from going off on tangents and dragging out the process and milking tax payer money. They should be jointly appointed and jointly report their findings. Let the mud fall where it falls.

People in jobs related to the Security and defense of our country who leak information for political reasons ought to be tried by whatever law any other American would be charged with in times of war. As a veteran, I am appalled at the number of “disclosures by an unidentified source” we are seeing on a daily basis!!While in the Corps, there were guidelines for people to follow in situations where the law was broken, no matter who broke the law. Granted it wasn’t always easy when someone of a high level rank broke the law; but, there were measures to follow. The UCMJ not only provides a means to convict those who commit crimes. It also provides and protects those who follow it while reporting infractions.

The First Amendment is one of our most sacred Amendments. Yet, the press, who most ought to respect it, is often the entity that most abuses that right. I have the right to bear arms. The Constitution says so! But if I do not “bear arms responsibly” do I not bear the consequences of my actions for abusing that privilege? Where is it written in the Constitution that the press has an “all encompassing ability” to print and write whatever “it” decides is in the public interest regardless of the consequences? Who decides the “public interest?” Personally I think the press practices more “censorship” of public knowledge than any government agency. The press affects political elections by its reporting or lack of reporting of news. Does that not violate the rights of the public to a fair and equitable opportunity to make their own choice of ELECTED OFFICIALS? The only difference of late between America and the old Soviet Union is that the old Soviet Government censored the news. In America, the news is censored by the press. But, is not censorship the same no matter who applies it? The people are the ones harmed and whose rights are infringed upon by censorship! Is it not a violation of the election laws to tell me I have to vote for a particular candidate?  By censoring information to the public, is not the press telling us we can only vote for ceretain issues and candidates? So,  who is guarding the people from abuses by the press?

It’s been said that a picture says a thousand words or something of that nature. So, let me give you my thoughts another way. TO THOSE WHO HATE OUR TROOPS AND AMERICA:dead_soldiers

  1. Yankeemom, you always pop up at thr right time. I have had a block lately because of something that I recently heard said by a family member about my blogging. It seems I am creating a bit of a problem for some people. Since my blogs writiings and comments are being copied, can I send you an email? I need an unbiased opinion.

I appreciate your kind remarks. I just got so angry over that disrespectful video the Democrats put out that I got wound up.

  2. You’ve hit the several nails on their little heads here. I’m hoping by the number of blogs popping up daily that the silent majority is getting grumbly and putting the truth out there of the agendas behind all the protests and politics that are detrimental to this country.
Your voice is really important and I appreciate the time and thought you give to the world events.

  3. Thank you, K~. I have been trying to put this into words for weeks. That story just hit me wrong and stirred it all up and out it came, lol!

There is no excuse for that vidoeo!

  4. Beautiful DD. Well said.
