Saddam and his lawyers disrupt the court hearing again

Saddam and his lawyers were so disruptive in Court yesterday that they either walked out or were thrown out of court. The trouble seemed to escalate when a relative of Saddam tried to tie up the court with a diatribe that had nothing to do with the proceedings. I think Saddam is trying to discredit the results of any verdict handed down in Iraq.

This proceeding was conducted by a new judge. When the judge tried to establish order by having some family members and a lawyer thrown out of court, Saddam challenged the judge’s authority saying he was “the ruler of Iraq for 30 years and the judge talked to him ,that way!” The judge told Saddam he was the judge and Saddam had to do as he, the judge, said. Saddam and his remaining lawyers stalked out after the judge refused to allow Saddam to be tried in absentia.

Personally, I think they ought to put chains on his feet and wrists and tape on his mouth so he can only talk when he is required to answer. They ought to chain or strap him to his chair. He is trying to discredit the judge and the court. He thinks he is still the ruler of Iraq. He will certainly try to provoke a take over of the government again if given a chance.

So when all is said and done I hope he is convicted then hung publicly and left hanging until his mad, crazy a$$ rots and falls to the ground. Or, at least that part of his carcass the buzzards don’t get first. He is far more arrogant and dangerous than Stalin, Pol Pot, and Hitler combined.
