Senator Reid and Ethics?
I saw a report on Fox News this morning that Senator Reid’s Ethics report named 33 Republicans. There were various violations mentioned from questionable campaign contributions to questionable ties to lobbyists. Did the Committee only investigate Republicans? Now he is apologizing for publicly giving out that information. It seems the “gentleman” makes a habit of improperly disclosing information as in this example:
“In discussing one of President George W. Bushs nominees to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, Senator Reid stated on the Senate floor: Henry Saad would have been filibustered anyway. He is one of those nominees. All one needs to do is have a Member go upstairs and look at his confidential report from the FBI, and I think that we would all agree that there is a problem there. (Cong. Rec., May 12, 2005, p. S5030) (emphasis added).”
Why didn’t it also investigate the huge number of Democrats [Socialists/fascists] involved with the Shadow Party, George Soros and the 527 connections of Hillary Clinton and Harold Ickes. I am talking about millions of dollars here. When the new campaign law was passed, George Soros was one of its biggest supporters. He and his fellows supporters had already determined the value of the 527’s for hiding and funneling money into a campaign.
This is easily done by forming a 527, taking out media adds in all areas of the media outlet. The actual Democratic Party never “sees or touches the money. Even a candidate can form a 527 and take out adds. They just can’t give the money to the party. But isn’t the “Shadow Party” effectively a “political party?” You will be surprised who is contributing to the Shadow Party! Besides Soros, Jane Fonda is one of the top four largest contributors. I invite Mr. Reid to read my post, Let’s try this again, “The “Enemy Within!” and tell me and others why none of the activities I mentioned in my post are not investigated.
Granted, there are laws about representatives accepting gifts. There are also guidelines for dealing with lobbyists to make sure no undue influence is affecting the representative’s decisions. These issues are important. However, isn’t the stability of our government important? Why will no one address the take over of the Democratic party by the socialists/marxist/fascist elements in America? Why is the “Shadow Party” untouchable? Why will none of our lawmakers conduct investigations into who is really behind the anti war movements across the country? Why is there no investigation into Code Pink’s huge financial contributions to our enemy?
When did Americans and Congress allow freedom of speech, the right to peaceful assembly, and all the other rights we hold so dear to become the tools of traitorous activists bent on destroying our government and way of life. Why should a man or woman who goes to college for 12 years and a high school graduate who went no further for whatever reason both make the same wages? In California, redistricting was done to assure Democratic wins in predominately minority regions or regions that have high concentrations of labor supported industries. Why is this action not before the courts as unconstitutional?
Want to know why judges can’t be confirmed, cabinet appointments can’t get confirmed, appointment of our civilian leadership in areas of defense, the military is cutting back on guard personnel to cut costs to apply monies elsewhere, then check out those representatives. Look up their organizational affiliations. Then look up the affiliations of those organizations. Keep tracking back. I think you will be very surprised and shocked at what is going on in this country right under our complacent noses!
Let me suggest a starting point. Go to Discoverthenetworks.org enter a name in the group search. When it comes back and suggests a complete site search, re-enter the name. Don’t just do this to check out the Democrats. Check out the Republicans too! There are many legitimate non profit and unbiased and some biased groups out there who provide starting points that allow you to check out the credibility of our representatives. At first, you may find this a little time consuming. But once you get used to how to do this yourself, it becomes quite easy and quick. I can’t remember the url, but there is even a site that shows you exactly what each and every member of Congress does. What measures they support, which they don’t. Find out if your representative is really representing you or some powerful lobby or rich special interest group or individual.
Our troops are risking their lives day in and day out to safe guard our country and our rights. Why should those of us at home allow others to trample on those rights. Have we become too pampered or spoiled? Do we just assume that nothing could really happen to destroy our government and way of life? Extremism, of any type is everyone’s concern.Isn’t an athiest extremist not much different than a religious extremist? Don’t they both try to force their beliefs and values on others? What about political ideology? Aren’t there always extremist within any political movements or philosphy? Isn’t the real issue one of balance? Shouldn’t the goal be down the middle with occasional drifts left or right?
Let us remind ourselves about what we are protecting and believe in:

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

Amendment ICongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.——————————————————————–
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
