Hertha Däubler Gmelin, you’re not alone!
On Sept. 1, 2005 I posted my response to a comment made by Germany’s former Minister of Justice Hertha Däubler Gmelin about President Bush. I was not in error for voicing that response. I was in error, however, in that I misread the article in SPIEGEL ONLINE.
The article was discussing remarks made by the German Minister of the Environment Jürgen Trittin about the affects of Katrina on the Gulf States region. Apparently he feels the people got what they deserved because the US didn’t sign the Kyoto accord. Well, my message to him is:
