Terror threat to US still serious.
The Government and the NCTC have both put out their latest yearly reports on terrorism for 2004. Both show terrorists attacks worldwide are significantly greater.
Of course the number of attacks have increased. America and the Coalition forces are fighting back world wide. But this is a war. Despite the denial of many nations and people throughout out the world, these terrorists consider them- selves at war world wide.
They especially want to defeat and destroy America. What most people fail to look at is the strategic advantage here to the terrorists. If they can bring down America and/or isolate her with no allies, they feel they can succeed throughout the world. That is because we are presently considered the greatest obstacle to their goals now that Russia is no longer considered a threat.
They have been quoted time and again as saying if they can bring down America as they brought down Russia, they could succeed in conquering the world and making it an Islamic world!!
I would rather be dead than anyone’s slave. I would do anything to fight to keep my freedom. I would do anything to defend my country. While many people at home and abroad have their head in the sand or up their collective a$$e$, I research these people constantly and study about them. They mean to kill us.
I read everything I can to tell me how to do my part if the terrorists become more active in America. I read how to recognize their activities. How to report them. I study how to survive if a threat is launched against us in our home towns. All Americans ought to be doing something to help themselves at home.
I don’t mean we all need to go out and buy Ak-47′s and learn how to use them, though learning how to handle a handgun safely at an approved school can’t hurt. I also look into self defense methods. What to do in case of a biological attack or some other deadly attack.
I read about their religious rhetoric so I recognize their fanatical words when I hear them. Not the ordinary Muslim faith but the fanatics. Though I do read about the Muslim Faith so I know what it really teaches. I read Arabic newspapers written in English from varied sources so I can learn about their customs and ways. I also read about the terrorists doctrine.
I believe we each have an individual responsibility to do,our part. If our water supply were attacked would you know what to do? If a biological agent were released in your town would you know what to do? Have you gone to your fire department or rescue squad to find out what to do during any of these types of attacks. Have you asked any of them what instructions they want you to follow? Asked if they have printed materials for you to read and keep in your home for emergency use?
Listen to the MSM or the political types whose only agenda is partisan superiority and it’s a case of you snooze you lose!!
